Te-Mi-Zhi-Ka Pottery - Striped Jar #97
This striped jar is made by Betty Gaedtke, a member of the Quapaw Nation, and part of the Buffalo clan where she is known as Te-Mi-Zhi-Ka (little buffalo woman). Gaedtke specializes in contemporary Quapaw pottery using traditional style and decorations. Each piece is handmade, smoke fired and signed by the artist, who lives in Yellville, Arkansas.
