Strands Textiles

Hannah Genevieve Lawrence of Strands Textiles is a fiber artist currently living and working in Little Rock, Arkansas. She grew up moving around often and received her BA in Studio Art with a focus in Textile Art from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. During her time in school she was inspired to utilize Textile Art as a means of connection to life in general whether it be the role of women in society past & present or just trying to understand her place in the world. Her work has visited many forms of textiles but is currently focused on Macramé. Her hangings have been presented in exhibitions and environments in the U.S, as well as in print.
