Carol Lachowsky Thomasson started Gold Creek Crafts after she retired to pursue her interests in crafting. Traditionally, fabric wrapped rope baskets are made to use up scrap fabric. Thomasson's baskets are made from new fabric wrapped around cotton clothesline which is then shaped and sewn on the sewing machine. Baskets variants are between 9" -11" inches across, 2.5"-4.5" tall.
