Te-Mi-Zhi-Ka Pottery - Buffalo Effigy

This small Buffalo Effigy is made by Betty Gaedtke, a member of the Quapaw Nation, and part of the Buffalo clan where she is known as Te-Mi-Zhi-Ka (little buffalo woman). Gaedtke specializes in contemporary Quapaw pottery using traditional styles and decorations. Each piece is handmade, smoke fired and signed by the artist, who lives in Yellville, Arkansas.  Approximately 6"L x 5"H
